Introduction to Ancient Greek Education
Education started at age seven for most students in Ancient Greece. Typically in Sparta the young spartan boys were given a military education. Girls were not excluded from this, as it was seen that strong women produced strong babies. Though education was not for everyone children in Athens who were poor could not go to school because they were need at home.
